Cardiac Clinic
Provided by:  Dr. Steven Cole, DVM, DACVECC, DACVIM (Cardiology)
Dr. Cole grew up in the Washington D.C. area and is a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary
Medicine. He completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, followed by a
three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania.  He has been
board certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care since 2003.  Dr. Cole
remained at the University of Pennsylvania to serve as a lecturer in Emergency and Critical Care and to
complete a three-year residency in Cardiology. He recently passed his Cardiology certifying examination
and is board certified in Cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Dr. Cole has authored several scientific papers and has contributed to textbooks in Cardiology,
Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, and Respiratory Medicine.   He has also lectured and presented
research at veterinary conferences in both the US and Europe.  Dr. Cole is excited to join our growing
Cardiology Service, and his special interests include congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology,
pacemaker therapy, valvular and myocardial diseases, pericardial disease, cardiac emergencies, and
cardiac intensive care.

  • Ausculation  $40.00 per dog
  • Echocardiogram: $180 per dog

Will provide exams and cardiac forms.
An echocardiogram report will be generated on-site for all dogs receiving echocardiograms.


Eye Clinic (CERF)
Provided by: Dr. Brady Beale-Clark, VMD, DACVO
Dr. Beale is a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist and Diplomate of the American College of
Veterinary Ophthalmology. She is originally from Baltimore and Annapolis. Dr. Beale completed a 3-year
residency in comparative ophthalmology at North Carolina State University. Prior to that, she received
her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she also completed a year as an intern in
medicine and surgery. She attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate studies. Dr Beale has also
interned at numerous animal care facilities including the New England Aquarium and Baltimore Zoo.

  • Exam: $40 per dog

Will provide eye exams and CERF forms.
All dogs will have eye drops put into both eyes to dilate the eyes for exam.

SHOW ENTRANTS: Eye drops take 4-5 hours to wear off, so please if you are showing dogs
that are being examined that day, schedule your appointment after your ring appearance or
around it.

  • Health clinics are not refundable for any reason!!!

  • Checks must be received within 5 days of booking an appointment, otherwise the appointment slot will be re-booked.

  • There is a $25 fee for returned checks.

  • If you are competing, it is your responsibility to make sure health clinic appointment times do not coincide with ring times. No fees will
    be refunded for missed appointments!!!
